What if I told you at the start of the season that Lamar Jackson was the favorite to win MVP after 11 weeks? You wouldn’t believe me.
But that’s the case right now.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is the new favorite to be named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player. Caesars Sportsbook has Jackson as the 7-5 favorite to win MVP, per ESPN.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is right behind Jackson at 2-1 odds. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a distant third at 9-1, followed by Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Cowboys’ Dak Prescott at 10-1.
A lot of football is left to be played but there’s no denying that Lamar Jackson has taken the league by storm in his sophomore year.
He’s on pace to throw for over 3,600 yards and run for more than 1,200 yards this season.
The Ravens have won 6 consecutive games, including wins over Russell Wilson’s Seahawks, Tom Brady’s Patriots and Deshaun Watson’s Texans.
They have the Rams, 49ers and Bills in the next three weeks.
Jackson began the year with MVP odds at 50-1.
