Saints Are Mostly Healthy For The First Time Since Week 2

Drew Brees returned in Week 8 from a thumb injury and torched the Cardinals with 373 yards and 3 touchdowns in a victory.

Brees did all the damage without some key players. With the way things are looking now, Brees should have all his guys back this week against Atlanta.

Alvin Kamara, who missed two games with ankle and knee injuries, practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday, and coach Sean Payton said he expects the dynamic running back to play on Sunday.

Tight end Jared Cook, who missed two games with an ankle injury, fully participated in practice on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith, who hasn’t played since Week 5, was also a full participant. He’s been dealing with an ankle injury.

Drew Brees is not on the injury report.

The Saints have a stretch of three consecutive divisional games coming up. They have the Falcons this week, the Bucs in Tampa next week and then back home for the Panthers in Week 12.
