While most of America waits for the Cardinals to make their pick at No.1 overall, another story involving the Cardinals popped up this morning.
Former NFL WR Antonio Bryant tweeted this morning that star CB Patrick Peterson was headed to the Chiefs.
Peterson was involved in trade rumors during the season and the Chiefs were one of teams linked as a potential suitor.
Shortly after Bryant’s tweet, a fan noted that Peterson changed his twitter bio and took out everything Cardinals related.

After over an hour of speculation, several Chiefs’ beat reporters reported that the Peterson-to-KC talk is all a waste of time and nothing is happening between the two teams.
Earlier this offseason, Peterson told fans at a golf tournament that he’s “here to stay” in Arizona.
While they won’t get Peterson, the Chiefs have been linked to Seahawks franchise tagged DE Frank Clark.
