Report: Jets “Badly” Want To Trade Down From No. 3

Albert Breer of the MMQB writes that the Jets “badly” want to trade out of the No. 3 spot.

According to Breer, the Jets want to recoup the two picks they traded away when they moved up to get Sam Darnold last year.

Last month, GM Mike Maccagnan said the team would be open to moving down.

“Right now, we feel good at No. 3, but I’d definitely say if there’s an opportunity to trade down, we would absolutely look at it,” GM Mike Maccagnan said.

The Jets are slated to have just six draft picks this year. If they end up sticking with the No. 3 overall pick, their next pick is set to be at No. 68.

Most mock drafts currently have the Jets taking Kentucky edge-rusher Josh Allen.
