Former NFL CB Adam “Pacman” Jones accepted a plea agreement Thursday stemming from an Indiana casino incident.
According to TMZ, Jones will go to jail and is banned from drinking alcohol for 18 months.
The whole incident took place last month at Rising Star Casino in Indiana. Authorizes say Jones cheated while playing a table game… and was then accused of threatening to kill an Indiana Gaming Commission officer and striking a public safety official.
He faced charges of intimidation, battery against a public safety official, cheating at gambling, attempted theft, disorderly conduct, public intoxication and two counts of resisting law enforcement.On Thursday, five additional counts of felony cheating at gambling were filed.
According to the TMZ report, Jones will enter a guilty plea to one count of felony cheating at gambling and one count of misdemeanor resisting law enforcement. Prosecutors have agreed to drop all remaining charges.
The terms of the deal would require Jones to spend 10 days in jail, while also serving a probation period that will ban him from drinking alcohol for 18 months. Jones is also banned from the Rising Star Casino in Indiana and cannot possess firearm or dangerous weapons without permission from his probation officer.
Jones spent eight NFL seasons with the Bengals. He was drafted in the first-round by the Titans in 2004 and also had stints with the Cowboys and Broncos.
