Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill finds himself in some trouble right now. The Kansas City Star reported last week that Hill is under investigation for allegations of battery. The incident was against his son and resulted in the young child having a broken arm.
These are serious and disturbing allegations that are just sickening. We don’t know the circumstances of this case and are awaiting to see what police say and what the Chiefs end up doing with their talented WR.
This isn’t the first time Hill has been involved with off the field trouble. Hill reportedly punched and choked his fiance, who was then eight weeks pregnant with their son in 2014. He pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation in 2015.
During the 2018 season, the Chiefs flat out released star RB Kareem Hunt when video surfaced of Hunt pushing and kicking a woman.
According to Adam Schefter, the talk around the Combine was that Hill would get a record-breaking $20+ million a year extension this offseason.
In his column with The Athletic, Jay Glazer mentions that he heard “rumblings” that Hill’s name was being mentioned in trade talks earlier this offseason.
Obviously, that report doesn’t mean much anymore with Hill in the situation he’s in.
Hill’s future in the NFL will likely become a major talking point around the NFL as we near the draft and beyond.
