NFL 2020 Player Opt Out Tracker

With the circumstances this year, the NFL will look extremely different. There were no OTAs, there won’t be a preseason and pads won’t even go on until the middle of August. Some players might feel uncomfortable with playing during the current circumstances.

And because of that, the NFL and the Players Association agreed to a plan that allows players to opt-out of the upcoming season if they are uncomfortable with playing. High-risk individuals could opt-out and receive a $350,000 stipend whereas those less at risk would receive a $150,000 stipend.

All the player opt-outs will be tracked on this page and also tweeted on the MySportsUpdate timeline. Bookmarking this page and turning on Twitter notifications is recommended.
