The Giants fell to 1-6 on the season after a brutal loss to the Eagles on Thursday Night.
With the trade deadline approaching, teams have been calling to gauge interest in some of their veteran players.
The names at the forefront of trade discussions are veterans Golden Tate and Kevin Zeitler, according to SI’s Albert Breer. Both players have been discussed “pretty consistently” in talks with other teams.
Breer noted Tate’s contract and production may lead to a smaller return, while the need for offensive linemen makes Zeitler a hot name.
Tate scored his touchdown of the year last night and has hauled in 20 passes for 195 yards on the season. Zeitler is the Giants’ best offensive lineman but the team is high on rookie backup Shane Lemieux.
