The Patriots officially announced the signing of Cam Newton on Wednesday and the former NFL MVP is starting to learn the playbook.
Newton recently posted a photo on Instagram of himself studying the Patriots’ playbook, and his caption was a quote from Julian Edelman, saying, “This sh*t is calculus!!”
That caption seems to be appropriate with the Patriots notoriously complicated offense.

Newton’s deal with the Patriots could reach up to $7.5 million with incentives, as Field Yates noted.
