Allen Robinson “Likes” Tweets From Fans Telling Him To Leave Chicago

By Ari Meirov

The Bears and wide receiver Allen Robinson have not been able to work out an extension, and the receiver has shown his frustration throughout the season.

In early September, he deleted all Bears related content from his social media

Shortly after that there was a report from the Chicago Tribune that he requested a trade.

A couple weeks ago, his agent took to Twitter and bashed the Bears offensive playcalling. “Throw 12 the Damn Ball in the Redzone! JUST ONCE! My goodness,” agent Brandon Parker tweeted.

And now, after another loss, Robinson is “liking” tweets from fans asking him to leave Chicago.

Robinson has since unliked the tweets but it’s clear he’s unhappy in Chicago.

Robinson, who caught two touchdown passes on Sunday night, is in the final year of his contract with the Bears.

He’s scheduled to become a free agent in the offseason but the Bears could use the franchise tag on him which would take him off the market.

Robinson signed a three-year, $42 million contract with the Bears in 2018. He admitted after signing that he chose Chicago over Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay.

In 11 games this season, Robinson has 71 receptions for 829 yards and 5 touchdowns.
