Daniel Snyder, the owner of the Washington Football Team, has joined Twitter.
For the time being, @Real_DanSnyder remains a private account, so he could only be followed by people he approves.
It’s an interesting decision as Snyder has always avoided the spotlight.
His team has been in headlines all offseason long, from hiring a new coach, to the decision to change the team name, the ongoing investigation regarding 15 former employees who allege workplace sexual harassment, and the active efforts of three minority owners to sell their interests.
Snyder becomes the fifth owner to open up a Twitter account, joining Kim Pegula, Jim Irsay, Jed York and Woody Johnson.
