Ex-Eagles President Joe Banner Says DeSean Jackson Should Face Consequences For His Offensive Social Media Posts

Former Eagles president Joe Banner says DeSean Jackson should face consequences after the wide receiver shared anti-Semitic quotes attributed to Hitler on Instagram.

Jackson posted an image of a fake quote from Adolf Hitler saying, “the Jews will blackmail America. [They] will extort America, their plan for world domination won’t work if the Negroes know who they were.”

After receiving backlash, Jackson said his post was misinterpreted.

“Anyone who feels I have hate towards the Jewish community took my post the wrong way,” Jackson wrote. “I have no hatred in my heart towards no one!”

But he didn’t stop.

He followed up that message by posting another picture to his Instagram story highlighting the most vile part of the fake Hitler quote claiming Jews will extort America on their plan toward world domination (see below)

Former Eagles president Joe Banner, tweeted that Jackson’s roster spot should be in jeopardy.

“If a white player said anything about AA’s (African Americans) as outrageous as what DeSean Jackson said about Jews tonight there would at least be a serious conversation about cutting him and a need for a team meeting to discuss,” Banner said in a tweet. “Which would be totally appropriate. Absolutely indefensible.”

Jackson has also shared several posts from Louis Farrakhan, a man who has routinely been dubbed as anti-semitic and homophobic by watchdog groups. Farrakhan described Hitler as “a very great man.”

The team has not yet publicly commented on Jackson’s post.
