Seahawks’ DK Metcalf Donating $50,000 To COVID-19 Relief Efforts

As a rookie, DK Metcalf exploded as one of the top young receivers in all of football.

He’s also able to make his impact felt off the field.

Metcalf is donating $50,000 to COVID-19 relief efforts, splitting the money evenly between Swedish Hospital in Seattle and purchasing meals to feed people in need in his hometown of Oxford, Mississippi. Swedish is one of the biggest hospitals in Seattle.

The Seahawks selected Metcalf in the second-round last year, and he recorded 58 receptions for 900 yards and seven touchdowns in his rookie season. He added another 11 receptions for 219 yards and a touchdown in the playoffs.
