Jadeveon Clowney Considering Short-Term Deal

Jadeveon Clowney is the biggest name still available in free agency and he’s reportedly not happy with the offers he’s getting.

ESPN’s Dianna Russini reports that Clowney wants approximately $20M per season and interested teams aren’t going to that number as of now.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN adds that Clowney is considering a shorter term deal with a chance to re-enter the free agent market in a year or two.

The Seahawks want Clowney back and many people around league believe Clowney will return to Seattle, Fowler adds.

The Giants, Colts, Titans, Bills and Jets have also been linked to Clowney.

Clowney recorded 31 tackles, three sacks and an interception in 13 games last season. He played much of the year with a core muscle injury that required offseason surgery.
