George Kittle is one of the best tight ends in football and is also quickly becoming one of the most popular players in the league,
In an interview with Pardon My Take, Kittle revealed some news that most of us didn’t know.
Kittle injured his right shoulder in a 2018 preseason game against the Cowboys and he reuses to get it fixed. He has played the past two seasons with a torn labrum.
“So I dislocated my shoulder last year,” Kittle said, “and my labrum is completely torn. So I don’t get surgery on it — [The gray protective sleeve] basically helps me, so it doesn’t hurt all the time.”
Kittle won’t get surgery. Why?
“I can’t miss those workout days, man,” Kittle said.
Regardless of the injury, Kittle has dominated on the field recording 173 receptions, 2,430 yards and 10 TDs over the last two seasons. He was voted to the AP All-Pro First Team this season.
