Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark is paying for the funeral of LeGend Taliferro, the 4 year-old boy who was shot and killed Monday morning while sleeping.
Clark has been in contact with Taliferro’s mother, Charron Powell, about helping cover the costs, Life Line Financial Group told 41 Action News.
LeGend was shot and killed early Monday at the Citadel Apartments in Kansas City, Missouri. Witnesses said someone opened fire on his family’s apartment on Bushman Road at about 2:30 a.m.
KCPD is yet to make an arrest in the case.
Clark said he will play in LeGend’s name when the Chiefs have their home opener against the Houston Texans.
