Bears receiver Javon Wims had one of the dumbest and funniest incidents seen in a NFL game this season during the third quarter of Sunday’s game vs. New Orleans.
Saints safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson was standing around when Wims suddenly ran up to him and sucker punched him, twice. It was not a smart move, given that Gardner-Johnson had his helmet on and there’s a better chance you’re hurting yourself more than your target.
Gardner-Johnson barely flinched, looking more confused than anything about what was going on.

Wims was likely trying to get retaliation for what happened on the previous play whenGardner-Johnson stuck his finger in the facemask of Bears receiver Anthony Miller.
Gardner-Johnson responded after the game via Instagram: “That man punch like a female,” Gardner-Johnson wrote.
Wims was ejected for the incident and could be facing a possible fine or even a suspension from the league.
The Saints ultimately won the game in overtime on a Wil Lutz field goal.
