Broncos Will Listen To Offers For Chris Harris Jr.

Broncos star CB Chris Harris has asked for a trade if they won’t give him a new contract.

Broncos GM John Elway has said on a number of occasions that contract talks with Harris won’t start until after the draft. Harris has been a no-show for voluntary workouts.

According to multiple reports, Harris’ asking price is $15M a year and the Broncos won’t go that high for a CB coming off a season-ending leg injury.

Meanwhile, teams around the league have called the Broncos to check in on the Chris Harris situation, per Mike Klis of 9News. While they’re willing to listen, Denver won’t just give him away.

The Broncos have a new HC in Vic Fangio and added Kareem Jackson and Bryce Callahan in free agency.

Harris suffered a fractured fibula in early December and missed the final four games. He returned to play in the Pro Bowl.
