Multiple reports came out Sunday night that the Redskins will officially announce that they are changing their team name.
A new name is not expected tomorrow, but something else appears to be going on.
A few Redskins reporters have been putting out tweets signaling that something else is expected to happen Monday. No one is being specific, but they’re all “hearing” things.
Here’s a tweet from JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington
A real busy week. And it’s not all going to be about the name and it’s not all going to be pretty. https://t.co/5seER7VsLG

Scott Abraham of ABC News in Washington:
There is much more going on at Redskins Park than a name change.
I’m told by a source there will be some more news that comes out tomorrow other than the name change.
And it’s not good.
I did not get specifics, but get ready people.

And this is from Chick Hernandez of NBC Sports Washington
Redskins fired Alex Santos, the director of pro personnel, and Richard Mann II, the asst. dir. of pro personnel Saturday. @BenStandig first to report. Team source tells me Santos’ departure is “non-football” related, but would not elaborate. Gut tells me we’ll know why soon

It’s difficult to figure out exactly what’s going on, but there seems to be something.
