Tom Brady’s impending free agency will dominate headlines this entire month. Every move and every rumor will be dissected on twitter, blogs, sports shows, etc.
Several reports over the last month suggested that the Patriots and Brady have not had any dialogue. That changed last night.
According to Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald and Tom Curran of NBC Boston, Brady and coach Bill Belichick spoke over the phone on Tuesday.
According to Guregian, “it didn’t go well,” and according to Curran it “wasn’t particularly productive.”
Curran adds that it’s unknown how long they spoke and whether they got into discussions about money, length of term or any contract details.
Various reports have linked the Raiders, Titans, Chargers and Bucs as teams to watch for Brady’s services. The 49ers have been rumored as a team to keep an eye on but that remains hard to believe.

I hope the Patriots realize that many of their fans are fans of Tom Brady, not the Franchise. Actually, he is the franchise. How he is treated by their organization will speak volumes about their character. An Arkansas Fan.
