Tom Brady announced this morning that he will leave New England in free agency. So where is he going?
Reports have indicated that the Bucs and Chargers are the leading candidates.
According to Jim Trotter of the NFL Network, Brady’s camp has led the Chargers to believe he is going to stay back East because of family considerations.
Trotter adds that barring a change of heart by Brady, the Chargers believe they are out of the Brady sweepstakes.
That would leave the Bucs as the only remaining known suitor.
With Philip Rivers going to Indianapolis and Teddy Bridgewater headed to Carolina, it’s difficult to find another team that would make sense for Brady.
The belief is Brady will make a decision by Wednesday.
