Dallas Cowboys cornerback Byron Jones is headed to free agency and he is going to get paid big time money.
Appearing on 97.5 The Fanatic, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said he believes Jones lands with one of four teams: the Eagles, Jets, Giants or Raiders.
Schefter also added that he believes Jones will end up getting about $18 million a year with $60 million guaranteed and it might end up being more than that once free agency rolls around.
The Cowboys met with Jones‘ agent at the scouting combine and not much came out of it. Schefter confirmed that Jones will not be back with Dallas.
The Cowboys drafted Byron Jones in the first round of 2015. He has missed just one game in five seasons for Dallas and has started all but six games during his tenure with the team.
