This is either a huge prank or something big is about to drop in Washington.
Over the last couple days, a number of Washington reporters have tweeted that some big news is coming and it’s not good at all.
It all started Sunday night and it continued again on Tuesday. No one has given any details, but they all make it seem like it’s real ugly.
Here’s a rundown of some of the tweets.
JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington:
A real busy week. And it’s not all going to be about the name and it’s not all going to be pretty. https://t.co/5seER7VsLG

Julie Donaldson of NBC Sports Washington
What’s coming is disappointing and sad.

Scott Abraham of ABC News in Washington:
There is much more going on at Redskins Park than a name change.
I’m told by a source there will be some more news that comes out tomorrow other than the name change.
And it’s not good.
I did not get specifics, but get ready people.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports:
The warped and toxic culture of the Washington Football Team is about to be exposed in a sickening fashion … Again
— Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) July 14, 2020
And this is from Chick Hernandez of NBC Sports Washington:
Redskins fired Alex Santos, the director of pro personnel, and Richard Mann II, the asst. dir. of pro personnel Saturday. @BenStandig first to report. Team source tells me Santos’ departure is “non-football” related, but would not elaborate. Gut tells me we’ll know why soon

It’s difficult to figure out exactly what’s going on, but there seems to be something.
Mike Florio of PFT tweeted Tuesday night that there have been rumblings about an article from the Washington post that could cause problem for the franchise.
