The Jets are traveling to Kansas City this week, in a game that features the defending Super Bowl champions against the NFL’s only winless team.
It’s such a mismatch that the line opened with the Chiefs favored by 21.5 points.
Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones says the Jets shouldn’t be taken lightly.
“That’s a very good football team,” Jones said, via ESPN. People forget that because they haven’t won a game.”
Jones also mentioned how no team in the NFL should be taken for granted and how a few years ago the Chiefs lost to a 2-8 Giants team.
The Chiefs’ 2020 point differential of +75 ranks second, behind only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; the Jets have been outscored by 118 points, 51 points worse than any other team.
I get giving respect to your opponent, but Jones might be the only one calling the Jets a good football team in 2020.
