Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray made it official today, announcing he’s all in on being an NFL QB. His first task was to hire an NFL agent and he’s done just that.
Murray has hired Erik Burkhardt of Select Sports Group to be his agent.
Interestingly enough, Burkhardt also represents Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury.
While at Texas A&M, Kingsbury said he’d take Murray with the first overall pick if he could. The Cardinals have the first overall pick.
A little over a month ago, Kliff Kingsbury said he’d take Kyler Murray with the first overall pick if he could.
Kingsbury is now the HC of the #Cardinals and they have the No. 1 pick.
How that all fell perfectly into place is hilarious. Obviously Arizona doesn’t need a QB. pic.twitter.com/YwB4zJyQS2

Obviously, Kingsbury was hired to help Josh Rosen, who was the 10th overall pick last year.
Would the Cardinals ever consider trading Josh Rosen and selecting Murray first overall? It’s an intriguing question and only time will tell.
Murray will attend the combine later this month in Indianapolis. His Pro Day is scheduled for March 13th.
