Cardinals fans can take a deep sigh of relief.
QB Josh Rosen took to Instagram to share a picture of his damaged car. It looks like his Tesla was T-boned, though he said he is “okay.”
Rosen’s offseason hasn’t been a quiet one. Ever since Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray announced his intention to play football, rumors have swirled that the Cardinals might consider taking Murray with the No.1 overall pick.
New Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury said a while back that he would take Murray with the No. 1 pick if he could.
On Friday, Kingsbury reiterated that Rosen is the teams QB:
“He needs to understand we are in this together, and I want him to know he kind of has the keys to the castle and let’s build this deal as a group,” Kingsbury said.
The Cardinals have been busy this offseason, re-signing WR Larry Fitzgerald, signing CB Robert Alford, LB Brooks Reed and claiming LB Tanner Vallejo off waivers. They’re projected to have over $55M in cap space, the No.1 overall pick, and first priority on waivers throughout the offseason and into the 2019 season.
