Demaryius Thomas has been recovering from an Achilles tear and was informed this week that he was being released by the Houston Texans. His week got a little rougher this morning.
According to a press release from the Denver Police Department, Thomas was involved in a single-vehicle rollover car crash in Denver early this morning.
Thomas spent his entire career in Denver until the Broncos traded him to the Texans.
Denver police say Thomas, a male passenger and a female passenger were all taken to the hospital. Thomas and the male passenger suffered minor injuries while the female had serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but there was no indication of drugs or alcohol, according to police.
Thomas is a free agent in a WR class that’s not very deep. Full free agent class can be found HERE.
