The Eagles season hit rock bottom on Sunday as they lost 37-31 to the lowly Miami Dolphins.
The Eagles defense struggled to contain Ryan Fitzpatrick, who threw for 365 yards and 3 touchdowns. Devante Parker looked like Randy Moss out there, catching 7 balls for 159 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Dolphins scored 23 straight points after the Eagles took a 28-14 lead in the third quarter.
After the game, Eagles coach Doug Pederson called the Dolphins a “good football team.”

The good news for the Eagles is that they’re still just a game behind the Cowboys (6-6) for first place in the NFC East.
Philadelphia’s last four games are all against division rivals. They have the Giants next Monday night, then the Redskins in Washington. The big game is in Week 16 against Dallas and they finish the season with the Giants once again.
